  • I recently heard of this place from a colleague and decided to try this place…

I recently heard of this place from a colleague and decided to try this place when we wanted a quick lunch last week.

We got the chicken pie and sausage roll. We loved them both. The chicken pie comes with mashed potatoes and gravy. It was some of the best-mashed potatoes and gravy I have had. We then got creme brulee to finish, the perfect end to our meal.

  • WUT?! I mean really….WUUUT THE NOM!??!

    Wow. This. Place.
I’ve always wanted to check this place out as I love myself a good pie. Being from Ireland, I know what a good meat pie is. I promise you this. These pies are hands down the best in the area, and truthfully in the states as there isn’t much competition (if at all) in the area of Seattle, but being that I’ve traveled a lot throughout the country I can easily say this place should be listed as a “must visit if traveling to Seattle” when it comes to restaurants. (We had) 2 steak and mushroom pies, the crab dip, meat and cheese plate lunch, and of course a side of their mashed potatoes with gravy. Jesus….there is a God and low and behold he hides himself in their food at Premier Pies.

Premier Pies – will you please accept this rose and marry me?

  • Hidden little gem on the waterfront!

Hidden little gem on the waterfront! We stopped in here for lunch and as soon as we opened the door the delicious aroma of meat, gravy and pastries filled our noses. I had the Shepard’s pie and my husband had the hatch green chili chicken pie. Both were AMAZING AND DELICIOUS! Born and raised in NM we know the difference from what most venders say “real” hatch green chili from NM. This place was on point! Friendly staff, clean restaurant and great food, what else could you ask for?
We will definitely be back and plan on bringing in our family when they come to visit us!

  • D.E.L.I.C.I.O.U.S!

D.E.L.I.C.I.O.U.S! The front person told us about the most popular savory pies and we took them both! We had the steak and mushroom pie and also the lamb curry!! I was skeptical of lamb – front person assured me it wasn’t “gamey” and evening shared personal experience that he was skeptical as well, but it blew him away with flavor and deliciousness we devoured our pies and went back for the cherry berry pie dessert you won’t be disappointed eating here! thankful we chose this place to eat on our Seattle Waterfront Adventure!

  • This place is great.

This place is great. The only other meat pie place I know of is Peaked Pies in Vancouver BC. In my personal opinion the pies at Peaked Pies are a little better, but if we are reviewing meat pies I’ve had in the the US west coast. I’d recommend Premier Pies.

I ordered their most popular mushroom and steak pie with mash potatoes and gravy to go. Delicious! Potatoes are flavorful – I love sour cream in mashed potatoes. Gravy is also the nice dark brown beef kind.

The meat pie was way flakey and crispy, when I stuck my knife in a puff of steam came out . I’m half way through the pie now but I haven’t noticed any mushrooms yet. But there are tender pieces of steak with a ton of liquidy gravy pouring out. The steak doesn’t even need a knife, you can tear it with you fork. It goes great with the potatoes. Definitely elevated the flavor. I don’t think I would’ve enjoyed this as much without the potatoes.

Oh another plus. They sell cans of wine and mixed drinks to go. Perfect when my anti social self wants to drink alone in my room

  • Really yummy meat pies!!!

Really yummy meat pies!!! This is a great place for tasty soulful food on a rainy Seattle day. Read the menu well before ordering because you can add toppers or gravy to various pies. Bangers and mash plate was awesome, and I’m not even a brown gravy fan but the mash and gravy stole the show. I love seasoned food so if you like plain unsalted I peppered food the mash and gravy is not for you!

We had the Shepard’s pie, steak pie, bangers and mash, and the hatch Chicken Chile meat pie, and a side of mash and gravy. This was split between 3 people and we are all stuffed! Everything was delish. The chicken Chile pie was too reminiscent of chicken pot pie for my personal tastes but everyone else loved it.

Best part….. they also serve wine and premised cocktails

  • Food was awesome.

Visiting from South Carolina. Service was great. Food was awesome. I had the traditional Scottish pie and my husband had the Shepherd’s pie. Both were flavorful. Potatoes as side were good too. Would come back if ever visiting Seattle again.

  • Both the food and service are excellent.

Both the food and service are excellent. We tried 3 types of pies: Shepherds, Classic Scottish and Guinness Irish Stew. All three were very flavorful and yummy. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend Premier Meat Pies as a tasty and enjoyable experience.
